iSkiViewer app for iPhone and iPad

iSkiViewer is the first app for iPhone and iPad, which allows you to see all the ski tracks of the wonderful resorts of the Aosta Valley, by collecting information directly from the Skipass Valle d’Aosta - Siski data archive (www.skivallee.it), since the winter season 2011/12.
A wide range of information on the ski pass is available:

- Visited resorts;
- Pistes (with the geo-referenced visualization);
- Frequency of ski lifts passages;
- Km of pistes / Length of pistes (classified by day or by resort);
- Gradient (classified by day or by resort);
- Favourite piste;
- Highest piste (max altitude);
- Sum of ski days;

All these details can be found either selecting a ski season or a date.

With the app you can visualize the maps of the ski resorts of the Aosta Valley in particular:
- The lifts and soon also the slopes;
- The lifts taken (with the number of passages);
- Info points, bar, restaurant, ski schools, hotels, parkings and shops;
These informations give you also many other suggestions (phone numbers, web sites, etc …).


iSkiViewer allows you to check your performance any time, wherever you are, even from the ski slopes (so you can decide how long you want to keep on skiing for!)

The app is equipped with a “Weather report” section with information on the pistes and the weather conditions in all the Aosta Valley Alpine and Nordic ski resorts. You can therefore find out:

- Maximum/minimum depth of the snow;
- Kind of snow;
- Temperatures;
- Weather conditions and forecast;
- Percentage of open pistes;
- Kms of open pistes;
- information about the ski resorts;
- etc ...

These details are supplied by the "Associazione Valdostana Impianti a Fune" and issued by the Aosta Valley info service.

iSkiViewer also provides useful information about the ski resorts, as promotional campaigns, special offers and advice, so you can fully enjoy your skiing days !

iSkiViewer will soon be equipped with the map of the slopes, which will make the app even more useful.

The app is available in the following languages: Italian, French, English.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
To use the app you need to have:
1. an iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5/5c/5s with iOS 4.1 or following, an iPad (1 or 2) with iOS 4.2 or following;
2. wifi or data connection ;
3. a skipass with a 23-digit serial code (e.g. 30-16147256250441531760-1).

The app cannot be used with BARCODE ski passes.
